Suppression Systems – Stand Alone Units

With three types of activation method we can provide a solution for most applications

Our S Type standalone units are ideal for protecting enclosed areas

Such as:

  • Electrical cupboards
  • Inside electrical distribution boards
  • Inside switch boards
  • Inside machinery
  • Boat engine compartments
  • Plant equipment

The TH range

With this range of products the S Type suppression unit would be installed into the area to be protected, a thermal cord would then be installed throughout the compartment and jointed to the suppression unit.

The thermal cord is activated by naked flame or ambient temperature of 175 and 300 degrees. Once activated the unit will suppress the fire.

Thermal cord trigger must be replaced every 5 years (due to thermal cord).

After the goods reach 5 years useful life, the aerosol generators must be replaced.

The ST range

With this range of products the S Type suppression unit would be installed into the area to be protected, a thermal bulb activator is then attached to the suppression unit.

These come with set activation temperatures 68, 93 and 141 degree. Once the ambient temperature reaches the activation temperature the suppression unit will activate.

Thermal bulb trigger must be replaced every 10 years.

After the goods reach 10 years useful life, the aerosol generators must be replaced.

The G range

With this range of products the S Type suppression unit would be installed into the area to be protected.

A linear heat detection cable would then be installed throughout the compartment and jointed to the suppression unit.

The linear heat detection cable comes with set activation temperatures 68, 88, 105 and 185 degree, once the ambient temperature reaches the activation temperature the linear heat cable will short out and the area will be suppressed.

Linear heat detection cable must be replaced every 5 years (due to linear detector).

After the goods reach 5 years useful life , the aerosol generators must be replaced.

The E range

Electronic trigger must be replaced every 10 years.

After the goods reach 10 years useful life, the aerosol generators must be replaced.

The E&ST range

Electronic and thermal bulb trigger must be replaced every 10 years.

After the goods reach 10 years useful life, the aerosol generators must be replaced.

The E&TH range

Electronic and thermal cord trigger must be replaced every 5 years (due to thermal cord).

After the goods reach 5 years useful life, the aerosol generators must be replaced.
